Putumayo
The first retreat of the year. A grounding week in the Colombian Amazon foothills — where the cloud forest meets the river, and where the speed of the modern world stops mattering within an hour of arriving.
This is not a productivity retreat. There are no breakout sessions, no slide decks, no networking. The structure is intentionally spare. Mornings are slow. Days are walked, not scheduled. Conversations that wouldn't survive a city happen here.
Putumayo is where the year begins to take root. Where the practice stops being something you read about and starts being something you live inside.
Seven days. Slow on purpose.
- DAY 1Arrival. A long quiet evening. Settling.
- DAY 2Opening circle. The intentions you bring with you.
- DAY 3Long walk in the cloud forest. Conversations as we go.
- DAY 4A day with the local elders. Listening more than speaking.
- DAY 5Solo time. A river, a notebook, no agenda.
- DAY 6Integration. What you're taking back. What stays here.
- DAY 7Closing. Departure.
Everything from the moment you land.
- ·Ground transport from the nearest international airport.
- ·Six nights of lodging in a private accommodation.
- ·All meals — sourced locally, prepared on-site, dietary needs accommodated.
- ·Guided experiences with local elders and practitioners.
- ·Personal time with your mentor — long-form, unhurried.
- ·A small group: never more than the ten members of your cohort.
Less than you think.
Light, breathable clothing for warm humid days, and a layer for cool evenings. Walking shoes that you don't mind getting muddy. A notebook you'll actually use.
Phones come with you, but service is intentionally limited. The retreat is structured around the absence of constant connection. You'll feel it in the first 24 hours, and then you won't.
Confirmed dates will be announced once the cohort is full.
The retreat will run for seven days in spring. Specific dates are coordinated with the cohort to find the window that works for everyone — typically a Saturday-to-Saturday block.
If you've been invited, your mentor will share confirmed dates and travel guidance directly.
